Osprey Sea & Surf Adventures is located at the Head of the East Branch of the Westport River; a beautiful tidal estuary that leads to the coastline of Buzzards Bay & Rhode Island Sound. The river offers miles of quiet water paddling perfect for beginners and those looking for easy cruisin’.
We have a wide variety of kayaks & paddleboards to suit every paddler and skill level. All rentals include life jackets, paddles & basic safety instruction. Walk ins are welcome but we do recommend making reservations to ensure equipment availabilty and best tide conditions. Check the tides here.

Offsite Rentals & Delivery
Want to rent a boat, but don’t want to be limited to one of our locations? Call to reserve a boat, then pick it up at our Westport Shop. We’ll provide PFDs, paddles, and equipment to transport the boat on your car. We can also deliver boats to the location of your choice. Delivery is available for $35 round trip (with in 20 mins). Advanced reservations are highly recommended.
Group or Party Rentals
Paddling is a great way to enjoy the outdoors with your work colleagues, family members or friends. We provide all the equipment to make your next event, corporate function or party a unique experience. Whether your are looking to celebrate a birthday, plan a team building paddle for co-workers, have a fun adventure with youth or scouting group, or just get together with friends, we are happy to work with you and meet the needs your group may require.
Reservations are required, please call or email us for a quote and to make arrangements. Dates are subject to availability. In order for us to schedule your group quickly and efficiently we suggest having more than one date available for consideration.
Group Discount Rates
We offer a 10% discount off our regular rates for private groups renting 10 or more Kayaks or SUPs. Non profit groups receive a 20% discount.
Discount are for pre-paid reservations only. One person must pay for all boats and instruction at the same time and all participants must complete our waiver form.
