The workshop will be conducted in both sheltered flat water (Level 1 environment), and lakes, wide rivers, or coastal environments within .5 nautical miles from shore (Level 2 environment).  Instructor candidates will be assessed on their teaching ability, technical skills (including rescues) and knowledge, leadership – judgment – group management, and interpersonal skills.

Please review the ACA Essential Eligibility Criteria and the ACA Level 1: Introduction to SUP and Level 2: Essentials of SUP Instructor Criteria.  Your thorough review of these documents will ensure that you make an informed decision regarding your eligibility and readiness for this workshop.
